About Asha Padania

Bio
Asha Padania has a diverse legal experience representing and counseling clients in an array of matters through each phase of litigation. She began her legal career with a boutique firm where she successfully represented victims of elder abuse and prosecuted claims under the Elder Abuse and Dependent Adult Civil Protection Act. Ms. Padania later worked in the non-profit sector where she represented domestic violence and elder abuse survivors and collaborated with local government and community-based organizations to advocate for increased cultural competency in the legal system.
Ms. Padania received her B.A. from UC Davis with Honors and her J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law, where the National Asian and Pacific American Bar Association honored her for her commitment to advocacy of marginalized communities in the legal system.
Ms. Padania plays an active role in the local legal community. She has served on the Board for the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California, as a Board Member for the South Asian Bar Association Foundation, and as Co-Chair of the Civil Rights Committee for the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area.
